Students who need Chromebook help can see Mr. Buivantri in the purple library room during 1st PERIOD AND 6th PERIOD only! To get tech help any other time, they can call (713) 251-8324 for Tech Help.
Student Device Agreement and Chromebook Insurance
This is a two-step process!
1. STUDENT DEVICE LOANER AGREEMENT
- Complete your Student Device Loaner agreement through Skyward or by clicking the link below to get an agreement you can print and fill out.

2. PAY FOR INSURANCE OR OPT OUT
- If you want to pay for annual loaner device insurance, you may do so at the beginning of every year at MySchoolBucks.com or you can pay by cash or check made out to MMS.
- If you have opted out or do not pay for insurance each year, you are liable for any damage or issues with the Chromebook.
You must complete both steps in order to have a Chromebook issued to your child.

Chromebook Bags
The MMS Eagle messenger bag for your Chromebook is here and only $15 in the MMS main office while supplies last. (Cash or check to MMS or pay online at MySchoolBucks.com!)
Bags are black with the MMS Eagle on the side & can be personalized.
Insurance Information
Annual insurance must be purchased at the beginning of each school year before any damage occurs.
You cannot purchase insurance for damages that have already happened.
IF THERE IS DAMAGE OR LOSS TO MY CHROMEBOOK, WHAT AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR?
For a broken screen, keyboard, or trackpad damage if I have insurance and I was not negligent?
- Insurance covers the FIRST instance. You get ONE replacement.
- YOU will be responsible for the repair or replacement cost for any damages AFTER the first instance.

For a broken screen, keyboard, or trackpad damage if I DO NOT have insurance?
- YOU are responsible for the repair or replacement cost for any damages to a broken screen, broken keyboard, and/or broken trackpad:
For a missing or damaged hinge?
- NOT covered by insurance: you must pay for a new Chromebook

For a broken or missing cover?
- NOT covered by insurance
- If you do not have a cover, you are responsible for any damage that occurs (considered negligence by the insurance company)
